Hello LEGO!

I am excited to apply for the Director of Film Production and Experiential position at your company!

The job description and core responsibilities are in line with my professional background. I bring extensive production expertise from agency, live-action, post-production, and client-side internal creative environments.

LEGO’s mission to “inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow” brick by brick, deeply resonates with me - especially as a proud early owner of LEGO set 402 (image above). In our dad’s garden, I’d build worlds for my sister’s Barbies using wooden blocks and LEGOs. I wasn’t a Barbie-playing girl myself; I was the one organizing the bricks and engineering LEGO mobility devices. That creative play was our sisterly love language. (Ironically, years later I went on to produce several global TV campaigns for Mattel and Barbie.)

Recently, I’ve been a contractor at Apple, producing marketing for Apple Original Films and TV series on the Apple TV+ Content and Design team. I’ve also worked with Apple’s internal creative agency (Marcom), producing the global launch film for iPhone 15 Pro and ad + product film for Emergency SOS on iPhone 14.

Before that, I spent ten years as the Director of Video Production at RPA Advertising, leading a team of film and digital producers creating video, social, experiential and radio campaigns. I oversaw U.S. advertising production for Honda and Honda Racing, managed multi-million dollar budgets, and delivered award-winning multi-platform work - including Emmy-nominated, Cannes Lions-winning, One Show Pencils, Clios, Webby awarded campaigns.

A wider scope overview of my professional experience is included on my CV. I thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments and pride myself on building lasting relationships with both in-house partners and external production vendors (a few references).
